Anthrax's Scott Ian to Take Paternity Leave in July

Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian will sit out eight of the band's July shows for a paternity leave of sorts, according to Blabbermouth.net. Ian's wife Pearl Aday, who is also the daughter of pop superstar Meat Loaf, is reportedly expecting the couple's first child. The metal-dad-to-be wants to spend the time leading up to the birth with his missus. What a good husband Scott Ian is!
Blabbermouth also reports that Sepultura's longtime guitarist Andreas Kisser will fill in for Ian during his absence. Best of luck to Scott Ian and Pearl on their forthcoming bundle of joy. Let's hope that lots of metal is piped into the baby's nursery during its formative years.
