Lars Ulrich to Star in HBO Movie With Nicole Kidman

Lars Ulrich has been bitten hard by the acting bug. New York magazine reports that the Metallica skinsman will appear in 'Hemingway and Gellhorn,' a forthcoming HBO film starring A-listers like Nicole Kidman and Clive Owen. The drama follows the romance between author Ernest Hemingway and reporter Martha Gellhorn, who was a World War II correspondent. What a writerly romance!
Ulrich, who starred as himself alongside Russell Brand in last summer's 'Get Him to the Greek,' will play Joris Ivens, a Dutch documentarian who follows the couple's relationship.
David Strathairn and Parker Posey will also star in the film.
Perhaps Ulrich became interested in acting since he began dating actress Connie Nielsen, a fellow Dane who starred in 'Gladiator?' In any case, we'll be watching for when this movie finally airs.
