Scorpions to Re-record Classic Songs for Next Album
Scorpions are currently touring the world in support of their 17th studio album, 'A Sting in the Tail.' The German metal legends have said that 'Sting' will be their final record and that this tour will be their last one ever. However, it appears that the Teutonic warriors are not ready to enjoy the benefits of retirement just yet.
According to bassist Pawel Maciwoda, the band is currently working on an album of re-recorded versions of its most classic songs. Maciwoda recently revealed the news on television in his native Poland.
Fans can expect to hear re-makes of hits like 'Rock You Like a Hurricane,' 'Winds of Change,' and 'Send Me an Angel' on the new disc. The release is due out sometime next year.
