Faithsedge Don't Want to 'Let It End This Way' -- Song Premiere
Freeman Promotions
Faithsedge is the brainchild of Huntington Beach singer-songwriter Giancarlo Floridia. Floridia started the project in 2009 when he hooked up with bassist Fabrizio Grossi (Alice Cooper), axeman Alex De Rosso (Dokken), and drummer Tony Morra. With a pedigree like that, it's no surprise that Faithsedge deliver when it comes high-quality hard rock.
On their self-titled debut album (out April 19th), elements of each member's past work are certainly evident. However, the true stars of the record are Floridia's energetic arrangements and economic songwriting smarts. Noisecreep has the world premiere of 'Let It End This Way,' the blistering third track from the upcoming record.
After hearing Giancarlo's demos, Grossi put together the incredible backing band that would eventually become Faithsedge. Grossi was such a fan of the material that he also insisted on producing the resulting self-titled debut album.
The resulting effort is a perfect mix of hard rock, heavy metal, and progressive rock. Mastered by Tom Baker of Precision Mastering (Judas Priest, Motley Crue), 'Faithsedge' packs the kind of bottom end many other records like this lack. This won't be the last time we hear from Floridia and company.
