Coheed and Cambria to Play Free Show in Brooklyn
Gino DePinto, AOL
Prog rockers Coheed and Cambria will offer a free performance of their Neverender tour at the Williamsburg Waterfront in Brooklyn, NY on June 11th. The show is 100 percent free and totally ticketless; there will be no tickets sold in advance and you can't scalp your way in. Entry to the free show is on a first come, first served basis. However, a select amount of VIP giveaways will be announced soon, so a few lucky fans be guaranteed entry if they win.
What makes the Neverender: SSTB tour worth a reprise? Well, the band performs not one, not two, but three sets! Coheed will open with an acoustic set, which will be followed by a full, electric performance of their Equal Vision debut, 'The Second Stage Turbine Blade,' in its entirety. They will end the show with a short encore of songs from the rest of their catalog. In essence, the show is a Coheed and Cambria fan's wet dream.
Opening the show will be Tiger's Jaw as well as guitarist Adrian Belew of King Crimson/Talking Heads/David Bowie fame.
