Death's 'Human' to Be Remastered and Reissued With Bonus Tracks
Amazon
Relapse Records has announced that it will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Death's classic album 'Human' with a remastered reissue featuring previously unreleased demos. The album has also been re-mixed by Jim Morris, a longtime producer of Death records. This special edition will include an hour of recently unearthed and previously unreleased demos. The expanded packaging of the reissue will also include liner notes penned by Morris and former Death guitarist Paul Masvidal, currently of Cynic.
The reissue of 'Human,' due out June 21st, will be available digitally, as well as in both two and three disc configurations.
Check out the clip below for original footage of the band during the May 1991 mixing sessions for the 'Human' album. The footage was filmed 20 years ago at Morrisound Studios in Tampa, and serves to remind us how much we miss the late, great Chuck Schuldiner, who passed away from a brain stem tumor in 2001.
