'Deliver Us,' the new video from Swedish melodic death masters In Flames, can be viewed below. The clip was filmed in April at Göteborgsvarvet (The Wheel of Gothenburg) in Gothenburg, Sweden with Patric Ullaeus in the director's chair. Ullaeus has also shot videos for other metal acts like Kamelot and Mnemic, as well as '90s pop giants Ace of Base.
The Wheel of Gothenburg was opened to the public in 2010 and has since become one of the city's most popular tourist destinations.
The song 'Deliver Us' comes from In Flames' forthcoming 'Sounds of a Playground Fading' album. 'Sounds' will be their first record since guitarist Jesper Strömblad's departure from the group in 2010. A founding member of In Flames, Strömblad left the band to continue receiving treatment for alcohol abuse.
In support of 'Sounds of a Playground Fading,' In Flames will be performing at the Sonisphere Festival in the UK, and alongside Megadeth, Trivium, Machine Head, Godsmack, and Disturbed at Mayhem Festival 2011. They will also be playing at Hellfest 2011, headlining the second main stage.
'Sounds of a Playground Fading' will be out June 21th via Century Media.
