The Red Chord Singer Says Band is Writing, Preps New BMA Releases
FilmMagic
Last week, The Red Chord vocalist Guy Kozowyk told us about the new distribution deal between his label Black Market Activities and Good Fight Entertainment, and revealed that TRC are no longer signed to long-time label Metal Blade. Kozowyk also told Noisecreep that the band is using this time to wisely plot its next move.
"We are regrouping," Kozowyk said. "There is lots to think about given the state of the economy, touring climate, and free agency. We started writing a little and everyone is just enjoying some rare personal time."
While there's no shame in enjoying time off from the road, recording, and other time-sucking activities that come with being in a band, Kozowyk isn't resting on his laurels. The label-owner is prepping a bunch of Black Market Activities releases starting next week.
Here's a quick rundown of what Kozowyk has in the release pipeline for Black Market Activities this summer:
June 7 - Engineer – 'Crooked Voices'
June 7 - Khann – 'Erode'
June 21 - Fit For an Autopsy – 'The Process of Human Extermination'
June 21 - Ed Gein – 'Bad Luck'
TBA - Today Is the Day – 'Pain Is a Warning'
