Relapse Records has just announced that they've signed American heavy metal warlords Christian Mistress.
So far the Washington state quintet has released one full-length album, 'Agony & Opium,' in 2010 to critical acclaim and as toured alongside Thrones, Slough Feg, and more in support of the release. Christian Mistress is preparing to enter the studio next month with Tim Green (Melvins) to begin recording their Relapse debut and follow-up to 'Agony & Opium.'
Christian Mistress commented on the forthcoming LP; "In this offering our drive and power has branched from the roots of our beginnings. Wild and lightning-charged songs move ever forward in our attempt to reach the core." Last month Noisecreep featured Christian Mistress and called them a "new band to watch" and interviewed vocalist Christine Davis.
