Throwback metallers Fozzy, featuring wrestler Chris Jericho on vocals, escaped serious injury after a bus crash in Europe earlier this week. The band was traveling on its way to Denmark for a show on Tuesday morning when the vehicle hit a barricade, tipped on two wheels and skid for approximately 50 feet. It was certainly a terrifying couple of moments, but thankfully, no one was harmed.
The bus, however, is quite another story. The front and side windscreens were smashed and the driver's door was ripped from its hinges. Based on those details alone, things could have been a lot worse for the occupants.
Jericho even told Blabbermouth that "All of us in the Fozzy family are relieved and blessed that nobody was seriously hurt in the accident." The Denmark show had to be canceled as a result of the accident, but the band plans to play Hamburg, Germany tonight, since the show must go on.
