Coheed and Cambria bassist Michael Todd has walked free after posting $25,000 bail.
The 30-year old was released from the Dartmouth House of Corrections in Massachusetts on Monday, according to the Boston Herald. The bass ace was arrested after he allegedly robbed a Walgreens pharmacy in Attleboro for prescription painkillers. Todd fled the scene with six bottles of Oxycontin before local police caught up with him before he arrived at Comcast Center for a show Coheed was opening for Soundgarden. He was eventually charged with robbery and unlawful possession of prescription drugs.
In 2006, Todd temporarily left Coheed and Cambria to enter a drug rehab facility. He is due back in court to answer charges on August 9th. Stay tuned to Noisecreep for more information as this story develops.
