Poison's Bret Michaels Meets With Injured US Soldiers
Bret Michaels
Bret Michaels supports our troops in the best way a rock 'n' roller knows how! Instead of making onstage declarations about servicemen and women, Michaels took things a step further, making time to shake hands and have some face time with those who fight for our freedom.
The Poison frontman took time to meet with injured US soldiers on Saturday, July 30 right before the band's show at the Outlaw Jam in Frederick, Maryland. Michaels generously invited the troops and members of their families backstage before Poison performed.
While meeting and greeting the servicemen, he chatted them up and posed for photos, which was his little way of saying "thank you" for their efforts on behalf of our country. How awesome of him, right? This little gesture probably made their day.
