Dio Disciples US Tour Dates Annouced
Chipster PR
Dio Disciples have just announced dates for their upcoming US headlining tour. The band is comprised of former Dio members Craig Goldy [guitars], Simon Wright [drums], Rudy Sarzo [bass], with Tim Owens [Judas Priest, Iced Earth] and Toby Jepson [Little Angels] handling vocal duties.
The combo pays tribute to Ronnie James Dio by performing songs from the late frontman's classic discography. Dio's widow, Wendy, wrote on the Dio website that she supports the band, explaining, "There will never be another Ronnie, but we want to keep his music alive."
