Former Guns N' Roses and current Velvet Revolver guitar god Slash has found an unlikely, um, musical bedfellow in the form of pop diva Mary J, Blige. Slash is currently in the studio, working on his next solo album. He is following his last album's guest spot from The Black Eyed Peas' Fergie with the equally divalicious Blige. Slash clearly likes to partner up with the queens of pop music, making us wonder if a little duet with Lady Gaga is next on his docket. You never know, right?
Slash posted a tweet revealing the news, which read as follows:"Just finished a session w/ (with producer) Mike Clink engineering on a track w/Mary J Blige. Sounds killer!"
We do not doubt that MJB will bring it over a signature Slash riff. That girl can sing, and we already know that Slash can play. Duh. Nevertheless, our attention has been captured thanks to the news of this pairing.
