Mastodon Video for 'Deathbound' Features Murderous Marionettes

For a good, hearty, safe-for-work laugh, watch the Mastodon video for 'Deathbound' from 'Hunter.'

We did, multiple times.

The clip starts with drummer Brann Dailor describing a solar eclipse a la Mr. Rogers, complete with the nerdy sweater and the train on the track. The train quickly goes off the rails into a nightmarish scenario. The train is derailed, so to speak, into a world of murderous puppets.

Mastodonian marionettes are kicking, beating and maiming one another. There's even a version of Rosie from 'The Jetsons,' Kermit the Frog and Lego style animatrons. We like the Cyclops and other psychos. Some are cannon fodder – literally. Others become projectiles.
