The Alberta alt-rockers plan to promote the record -- their seventh in 15 years -- with a pair of leadoff singles, 'When We Stand Together' and 'Bottoms Up. ' Both hit radio Sept. 26 and become available for download the following day.
Self-produced and recorded at Mountain View Studios in Vancouver, B.C., 'Here and Now' follows 2008's 'Dark Horse,' a collection that's been certified triple platinum in the United States. The quartet's best-selling album, 2005's 'All the Right Reasons,' has gone platinum eight times and sold more than 11 million copies around the world.
"We're four people who love making music, the way we like to make it," Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger said in a press release. "We entered the studio this year with a vision, and it all came together. We're extremely happy with the results, and can't wait to share them with our fans."
Nickelback will also share its music with fans in arenas across the globe, and tour dates are expected in the near future.
