Bassist Chip Z'Nuff has split with ex-Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler's band Adler's Appetite and the skinsman has taken to Twitter to address the dissolved partnership. Z'Nuff and Adler played together for six years. Adler revealed some interesting details behind the rhythmic split.
Adler tweeted, "I love Chip Z'Nuff like a brother and wish him the best in all his future endeavors." Adler also revealed that it was he who hastened the split, posting: "Chip's departure was my decision due to the fact that I am working on an original band with Michael Thomas and Lonnie Johnson."
Adler revealed more info about that project, saying, "Our first single has one of the hottest new singers in the game right now on vocals. Hint: his band's initials are just like mine - AA." AA, huh? Blabbermouth surmises that it's Asking Alexandria vocalist Danny Worsnop and we're inclined to agree.
The former Guns N' Roses star said that Adler's Appetite will continue touring and that he will announce the name of his new project shortly. The new project began recording at NRG in Hollywood earlier this week.
