When you think Dee Snider, your mind probably conjures up images of wild, blond hair and really bad makeup. But what about the Bible... and Pontius Pilate?
Snider, known best as the front man of Glam metal outfit Twisted Sister, will play Pilate in a new video for the band Motionless in White.
The video is for the song 'Immaculate Misconception.' Motionless in White singer Chris Cerulli will play Jesus Christ. According to history, Pontius Pilate was the man who authorized the crucifixion of Jesus.
When British rock magazine 'Kerrang!' interviewed Cerulli, he spoke about working with the legendary Snider. "We've been talking to Dee for a while about working together on something and he then approached us about his son Cody's production company making our next music video. We were thrilled that he also agreed to star in it. We knew it would be a great match when we talked about our concept and they totally embraced it, rather than running the other way!"
Motionless in White formed in 2005. Like Twisted Sister, the band doesn't shy away from grotesque stage wear. Their album, 'Creatures' is available now via Fearless Records.
