Metallica's Lars Ulrich Settles With Ex-Assistant

Lars Ulrich's former assistant, Steve Wiig, was suing him for delinquent payment over years of overtime work, but the pair have settled out of court, avoiding a big, sticky, public mess over the dispute.
Wiig brought the lawsuit against the Metallica drummer in February of this year, asking to be compensated for nearly a decade of unpaid overtime. Wiig worked 70-to-80 hours a week from 2001 through 2009, but he wasn't paid for the hours that he was pulling. Wow, being Lars Ulrich's assistant sounds like a demanding gig! A work week nearly doubling regular hours? Lars must be a lot busier than when thought.
The amount and other terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
