The six years since he's parted ways with Korn have been fruitful for Brian "Head" Welch. Not only has the guitarist gone on to become a best-selling author, he's also found time to co-found a ministry and kick start a solo career.
"I know a lot of you have been waiting a long time for new music from us, and honestly, so have we," said an excited Welch this past summer. Writing and recording with Jasen Rauch, a top producer and former guitarist of Red, Welch's solo band will be delivering a new EP early next year.
Welch recently released a single entitled 'Paralyzed' and Noisecreep has the video for it below the cut.
"To me, 'Paralyzed' symbolizes being stuck and unable to move forward in life. Everybody can relate to that in some way. The lyrics in the chorus – "I'm paralyzed / I need you now" – are a cry for help to the one person we love the most and totally trust to help pull us out of our despair," Welch told Noisecreep about the track.
'Paralyzed' is available digitally. Brian "Head" Welch's still untitled album will be coming out in 2012.
