Mastodon Meet Barney the Dinosaur

Late last night, whoever is in charge of Mastodon's Facebook page posted a photo of the band with kids' show legend Barney the Dinosaur and some of his colorful friends. No explanation or caption was offered with the pic.
A similar photo featuring three members of New Jersey tech-metallers Dillinger Escape Plan hanging with Barney and his cohorts has also been floating around the web. Both bands are currently on tour together along with Red Fang.
According to AllMediaNY, 'Barney & Friends' hasn't produced an original episode since 2009. The plot thickens!
