Adestria Premiere 'The Odyssey' Lyric Video -- Exclusive
Razor & Tie
Artery Recordings recently announced the signing of San Diego, Calif. metalcore wrecking crew Adestria. Although the young quintet has only been in business since 2008, they've spent the last couple of years gigging nationally and were part of the Summer Partery Tour along with In Fear and Faith, Vanna, A Loss for Words, Close to Home, Chunk! No Captain Chunk, and Ten After Two.
Adestria recently spent time in Detroit working on their debut album with I Am Abomination's Nick Sampson in the producer chair. The group just revealed that the record will be entitled 'Chapters' and it will hit stores in early 2012.
In this Noisecreep exclusive, we bring you the lyric video premiere of 'The Odyssey.' The track is the first taste of Adestria's upcoming 'Chapters' album.
"We tried to make this song pretty straight forward both musically and lyrically. Everyone has had to deal with obstacles in their way at one time or another, and this song is about fighting through them, no matter how broken you may be," Adestria vocalist Matt Anderson tells Noisecreep of 'The Odyssey.'
Adestria will unleash 'Chapters' in early 2012 via Artery Recordings/Razor & Tie.
