At the Drive-In Announce Reunion
Redferns
When the band split their separate ways in 2001, Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodriguez-Lopez formed The Mars Volta and the remaining members went on to Sparta.
According to the band's Twitter, "¡ ATTENTION ! To whom it may concern: AT THE DRIVE-IN will be breaking their 11 year silence THIS STATION IS ...NOW...OPERATIONAL"
The news have been restated over at the website ATDMusic.com and confirmed by the folks at Alternative Press.
At the Drive In formed in El Paso, Texas in 1993. The quintet's dynamic take on post-hardcore proved to be wildly influential and landed them a record deal with the Beastie Boys' own Grand Royal label who released 'Relationship of Command,' ATDI's third and final album, in 2000.
