Marilyn Manson Lands Jason Sutter as Touring Drummer
Courtesy of Jason Sutter
A native of Potsdam, N.Y., Sutter played his first bar show at 13 and has since enjoyed a remarkably eclectic career. He recently completed tours with arena gods Foreigner and proto-punk legends the New York Dolls, and prior to that, he spent three years performing with Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell.
Sutter has also served stints with American Hi-Fi, Smash Mouth, Pink and Vertical Horizon, among others. He holds a master's degree in orchestral production from the University of Miami, where he played in the acclaimed Concert Jazz Band.
Given his qualification, we're guessing he won't have any trouble learning 'The Beautiful People.'
