'Tallica have partnered with charitybuzz.com to auction a signed and personalized ESP Ltd. Viper guitar. The axe, which boasts a high-gloss, redwood grain finish and custom ESP pick ups, will be signed by all four band members. But beyond the John Hancocks, drummer Lars Ulrich will also customize the autograph with whatever the winning bidder likes – be it his or her name, favorite Metallica song or otherwise.
Bidding is open through Feb. 1 at this location. The guitar, valued at $10,000, will raise funds for J/P Haitian Relief Organization, a nonprofit founded by actor/director Sean Penn to rebuild the infrastructure destroyed by the earthquake and combat the poverty that the majority of Haitians are facing.
