Foo Fighters just won the Grammy for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance for their song 'White Limo.' The band was up for six Grammy Awards this year, and in addition to the Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance award, the Foos have already won the Best Rock Song, Best Rock Album and Best Long Form Video categories, before the main telecast has even started.
The other artists nominated in the Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance category this year were Dream Theater, Megadeth, Mastodon and Sum 41.
'White Limo' comes off 'Wasting Light,' Foo Fighters' seventh studio album, which was produced by Butch Vig, with whom vocalist/guitarist Dave Grohl had worked on 'Nevermind' as a member of Nirvana. Since Grohl formed the Foos in 1994, they have been nominated for 25 Grammy Awards.
