Melvins, 'National Hamster' -- Stream a Song from the Band's Forthcoming EP

Next Tuesday, grungy metal lifers the Melvins drop 'The Bulls and the Bees,' a five-song EP that will be available for free download via Scion A/V. Noisecreep is stoked to have an exclusive stream of 'National Hamster,' the track that closes the collection, though not as stoked as Dale Crover was to play on it.

"Quite possibly my favorite song on the EP!" the multi-instrumentalist says. "We had lots of fun with the vocals on this one. Also, it's the first time I ever played guitar with a pencil. Probably the first time anyone's played guitar with a pencil! Whatever works though, right?"

As for the remainder of 'Bulls and the Bees,' singer and guitarist Buzz Osborne says it's "amazing in its noisy calm intensity." Based on 'National Hamster,' that sounds about right.
