In This Moment is just one of the many confirmed bands that will rock the high seas this November as part of the fourth annual ShipRocked cruise. In addition to In This Moment, Godsmack, Five Finger Death Punch, P.O.D., Sevendust, Filter, Fuel, Black Stone Cherry, Lit, Geoff Tate (Queensrÿche), Gilby Clarke (ex-Guns N' Roses) are all confirmed and more bands will be added. The cruise is set for Nov. 27 – Dec. 1.
"Where else can you get four days and four nights of great bands from Florida to the Bahamas floating out at sea? We can't wait to play the 4th Annual ShipRocked! This is gonna rule!" Five Finger Death Punch drummer Jeremy Spencer tells Noisecreep.
Since In This Moment are ShipRocked alums, they know exactly what to expect when it comes to rock n' roll cruising.
"We're gonna have a new album out and we'll play new songs," promises Howorth. "The album will have been out for a few months. We're touring a lot this year, so we'll be coming off a strong tour cycle. We should be in great shape physically regarding our show. We're gonna turn it up over what we did last year. We'll bring some more production to make it a little cooler."
For diehard fans who want to get close to their favorite musicians, ShipRocked offers the unique opportunity for band-fan interaction in a low-pressure situation.
Howorth continues, "We love to interact with our fans. We didn't really know what ShipRocked would be like, so we didn't have any preconceived notions. The fact that the fans were there and you could interact so easily...we really liked that part of it and everyone was really respectful. They were all having a great time too. It was so fun on every level."
ShipRocked embarks from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and will port in Key West, Fla. and Nassau, Bahamas. The floating festival sails on the MSC Poesia, an Italian themed ship featuring swimming pools, whirlpools, a fitness center, casino, multiple restaurants, bars and more.
In between bands, rock fans will enjoy special activities like meet and greets, Q&A sessions, artist hosted events, contests, theme nights and more. Vacation packages are on sale now via the official festival website or by calling 1-888-370-9680. Prices start at $799 per person, based on double occupancy.
