Steven Adler Releases Apology to the Current Members of Guns N' Roses
Steven Adler
Steven Adler's apology statement:
"Sometimes my emotions get the best of me when talking about my former band" states Adler. "It's hard to see your ex in bed with somebody else. We created one of the biggest selling debut albums of all time and it's no secret that I want to finish what we started 25 years ago and play together at the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame.
The guys that Axl has put together are all great players. They're not hacks in the sense that they can't play, they're all incredible musicians. I just meant that they are not the original lineup. I would like to apologize to Axl, Bumblefoot, D.J., Tommy, Dizzy, Richard, Frank, and Chris for my statement."
As previously reported, the drummer has a new band called Adler. The lineup features frontman Jacob Bunton (Lynam, Mars Electric), and Lonny Paul (Adler's Appetite). "I love the music that we're creating!" states Adler. "I haven't been this excited about my band since the GNR days. Jacob is exactly the singer I have been searching for. He has an amazing range and is a great writer and frontman. Lonny is an amazing guitarist and songwriter and the vibe is amazing!"
The band is currently in a Los Angeles recording studio working on their debut album with producers Jeff Pilson (Dokken, Foreigner) and Jay Ruston (Anthrax, Steel Panther). The album feature a guest appearances from Adler's former Guns N Roses band mate Slash. "I'm so excited for everyone to hear this record," states Adler.
