Time Again Singer Daniel Dart Sentenced to 2.5 Years in Jail
Craig Burton
Punk News reports that he will be serving time due to a conviction stepping from a "kidnapping," according to his bandmates. A kidnapping? That's a federal offense, so a short sentence seems a bit light, doesn't it?
Critical details and circumstances about the crime have not been disclosed by the band at this point.
Richert has said that Time Again, who released a pair of albums under Rancid guitarist/vocalist Tim Armstrong's Hellcat Records, will continue, but that doesn't seem like it'll be easy for the melodic punk rock band, since he'll be behind bars.
Time Again formed in Hollywood, Calif. in 2004 by Richert and former guitarist Daniel Reyes. The band quickly found an audience, citing influences such as Rancid, The Clash, and Operation Ivy.
