Deftones Entering the Studio, Slayer Launch Their Own Wine + More

We'll have new Deftones tunes sooner than later. The band is entering the studio next week to begin recording the follow up to 2010's Diamond Eyes. Previous reports indicated that the Sacto crew would start the process in July, but certain details were lost in translation during frontman Chino Moreno's interview with a Chilean outlet. The record, the band's sixth, is due in September or October. [ThePRP]

Slayer will be releasing their very own line of wine called Reign in Blood. The thrash vets promise that the wine will have a "tough and uncompromising taste" [NME]

Hardcore superstars Terror and Bane will hit the road this summer. The bands will set sail on July 21 on a trek that runs through Aug. 9. Tickets go on sale this weekend, so if you want to mosh, pick up change, start a circle pit or do any other HxCx dance, nab a pair.
