Rock 'n' roll might not be a cure-all, but it sure has brightened the spirits of one Rhode Island boy battling brain cancer. As Blabbermouth.net reports, 10-year-old Cole Grace recently enjoyed a Skype conversation with his hero, Steven Tyler. Grace got the call while he was in the hospital, and in addition to chatting with the Aerosmith frontman, he joined the rocker in singing "Walk This Way."

Appearing on a local WPRI news broadcast (video below), Grace said it was "very cool" to gab with Tyler, who amusingly "kept playing with his hair" throughout the conversation. Tyler also gave the brave youngster a shout-out on a recent episode of American Idol.

Grace was diagnosed in January with Grade IV Glioblastoma and has undergone three brain surgeries. Yesterday (April 22), friends and family hosted "Rock 'n' Roll for Cole," a fundraiser featuring local bands and comedians.
