Huntress Siren Says the Suffering Was 'Worth It' for 'Spell Eater' Video
Ben Gibbs
"Our video for "Spell Eater" was directed by Simon Chan of Artificial Army, the same wizard who created our video for "Eight of Swords" last year," Huntress vocalist Jill Janus tells Noisecreep. "We were on location in the Mojave Desert and Joshua Tree for two days shooting "Spell Eater." The scenery is stunning, but the environment is brutal. Those two days were bitterly cold and windy, it snowed and rained, I broke down into tears at nightfall. Huntress wanted this video to be a bit more raw, with less effects than "Eight of Swords." We think it's tight, and the suffering was worth it. Enjoy my pain!"
