The lightning apparently struck a mast and sent some concertgoers hurtling through the air. Afterward, fans on hand to see such bands as Machine Head, Soulfly and Pennywise were left to wander through a muddy, puddle-filled field littered with wrecked tents.
According to Blabbermouth, emergency crews spent hours treating the victims, who had taken shelter in a bar.
Held in the town of Roitzschjora, With Full Force attracts thousands of people every year. As tempting as it is to make "god hates metal" jokes, this probably could have been far worse.
