Puddle of Mudd Singer Finalizes Divorce With Two Smiley Faces

Divorces can get pretty ugly, but it seems that Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin has ended his marriage to Jessica Nicole on happy terms.

According to TMZ, Scantlin signed his divorce papers with not one, but two smiley faces.

The couple married in 2008, and Scantlin filed for divorce in 2011.

"It's most definitely the first time in all my years of doing this work that I've have had an opposing party sign with a smiley face on a divorce decree imposing maximum spousal support," says Nicole's attorney Brian Kramer. "It's certainly a refreshing change to see an artist who is cheerful about honoring such an obligation instead of treating it like it were the end of the world."

Scantlin agreed to pay $2,500 a month in alimony to Nicole.

The couple had a prenuptial agreement and also came to an agreement on how to amicably divide assets.
