According to a report on TMZ, Chaos -- born Karim Chmielinski in 1967 -- was detained after he allegedly crashed his SUV into a row of parked cars in Studio City, Calif. around 12:50AM.
According to police, the singer abandoned his car at the scene of the accident, but was discovered at his nearby home shortly after, where he was arrested for DUI.
Besides issuing four full-lengths with Amen, Chaos also released an album in 2005 called Gospels of the Sick with Scum, a group that also featured members of Turbonegro and Emperor.
Chaos also started the band Scars on Broadway with System of a Down's Daron Malakian. He later claimed to have co-written "B.Y.O.B." with Malakian, song that can be heard on System of a Down's album hit Mezmerize album. However, in 2010 a court dismissed his charge.
