Eyes Set to Kill Sign to Century Media + More News

Female-fronted Phoenix rockers Eyes Set to Kill are the latest addition to the Century Media roster. Frontlady Alexia Rodriguez commented on the new deal, saying, "For the past two years, we have been touring around the world and evolving into the band we are today without the support of a label. We are finally happy to announce that we've found a home and family at Century Media and can't wait for what is to come." A new album is due in spring of 2013. To celebrate the new relationship, the band will have a signing party at Angels & Kings in L.A. on Friday, July 20. Details are here. [Via Century Media Press Release]

The Acacia Strain will release Death Is the Only Mortal on Oct. 9. It's the band's Rise Records debut. Guitarist Daniel Laskiewicz (DL) is pulling double duty, playing and producing and recording the album. [Via Press Release]

The hotter-than-hot band Baroness recorded a four-song BBC session while in London last week and the performance will air on Sunday, July 22 at 7PM ET if you want to tune in! The set, which includes "Take My Bones Away," "March to the Sea," "Cocainium" and "The Line Between," was recorded at Maida Vale Studios in London on July 13. Listen here. [Via Press Release]

Vision of Disorder shared the track listing for The Cursed Remain Cursed, which drops Sept. 18. It's the Strong Island band's first album in a decade. The track listing is as follows:
