Iron Maiden Blasts Fan for Texting: Bruce Dickinson Declares, 'You're a Wanker!' (VIDEO)

There's nothing metal about texting. So says Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson, who blasted a fan last week in Indianapolis, Ind., for paying more attention to his cell phone than to the rock 'n' roll awesomeness transpiring before his eyes, Metal Hammer reports.

"You've been texting for the last fucking three songs," Dickinson says in the YouTube clip below, aiming his vitriol at some guy who evidently didn't deserve his choice seats. "You're a wanker!"

The outburst didn't stop Maiden from powering through the 1987 track "Wasted Years," and as badass as the performance was, it's a safe bet most fans waited until after the show to text their friends and brag about seeing it.
