Journey Playing Mitt Romney Fundraiser: Band Accepts $500K for Concert

Journey insist they're not making a political statement, but the arena-rock legends have accepted $500,000 to play a private fundraiser for presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, TMZ reports. The concert takes place Thursday in Tampa, Fla., home of this year's Republican National Convention.

Romney, who won't stop believin' Americans are tired of big government and plans to hold on to that feeling of "liberty, opportunity and free enterprise," to borrow from his website, apparently made the offer via his campaign.

In signing up for the event, Journey has agreed to play a 90-minute set.

Ignorant *****. You couldn't pay me 100 times that to sell my soul. They obviously don't have any integrity anyway- shame on anyone who support them (or Romney)!
