Three Suspects Arrested in Murder of Heavy Metal Drummer

Three suspects have been arrested in the murder case of Exsanguination Throne drummer Jose Carlos "Shiva" Hernandez. The knife that was used in the slaying was also placed into evidence.

The men -Miguel Angel Bautista (La Bola); Josaias Benjamin Mora Lorenzo (El Niño) and Maximo Darvin Almanzar Guerra (Wari)- were all placed into custody.

The details surrounding the murder of the drummer are not abundantly clear. However, it has been reported that his death was the result of a mistaken identity and that those who killed him were seeking revenge over the rape of Christhy Lorena Sanchez. She was assaulted last month at a concert at the Gustavo Live Pub in Santo Domingo.

However, there is one report indicating that one of the alleged perpetrators knew Hernandez, which creates further questions regarding the motive.

Sanchez will likely be called as a witness for the prosecution.

Hernandez will be buried in a cemetery next to his father, Jochy Hernandez, a Dominican meringue legend.
