Ronnie James Dio's Widow Remarries

Two years after metal icon Ronnie James Dio's death from stomach cancer, his widow and former manager, Wendy, has remarried. The former Mrs. Dio wed boyfriend Omar Gimenez at a private and somewhat low-key ceremony that was held in Montecito, California this past Sunday, September 9. The news was revealed via the wedding planner's Twitter account.
Dio died on May 16, 2010, at the age of 67, and ever since, Wendy Dio has worked to keep her husband's memory alive in the media and the metal community. Niji Entertainment Group -- a company Ronnie and Wendy had conceived before his passing -- has been releasing a steady stream of Dio-related albums and also material from other artists.
