The band is also offering the song as a limited-time free download exclusively via deftones.com. "Leathers" is the first track released from the band's seventh studio album, Koi No Yokan, which comes out Nov. 13.
We'd taken so much time between records, had some inner turmoil and our records were starting to get pieced together versus really being created together, so for us it was a chance to get back to basics," Deftones vocalist Chino Moreno told Noisecreep in an interview a couple of weeks ago. "We didn't have an idea of what sort of style we wanted. We just came in fired up and motivated to do something great. It was all very positive. We had more songs than ever, tons of ideas."
Koi No Yokan was recorded in Los Angeles, Calif. with Nick Raskulinecz (Alice In Chains, Foo Fighters, Rush) who also produced the band's 2010 Diamond Eyes album. Check out the full album track listing below, along with the "Leathers" stream and tour dates.
