The A.V. Club continue their Undercover session series with hilarious results, as our favorite cosmic metallers GWAR cover Kansas' 1976 classic rock staple "Carry On My Wayward Son." The series has worked with A.V. Club bringing in bands and offering them a list of songs they can cover, the band selects their favorite and performs it live in the A.V. Office.

However, as this is the final session for the year, GWAR didn't get a choice and had to cover the dust Kansas gem. GWAR rock this song so hard it makes Kansas look like they were an acapella girl group!

The band also manages to add in some of their own, original lyrics and the initial commentary they provide on the song before they cover it is also... a unique perspective to say the least. Watch the video below.
