Falling in Reverse Singer Arrested After Injuring Fans, Amusement Park Bans Heavy Metal Shows After Incident

Falling in Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke was arrested after two people were injured from a microphone stand the singer threw into the crowd during a performance on Saturday, Sept. 29.

The incident happened at FestEVIL which took place at Six Flags Great Adventure, a famous amusement park located in Jackson, N.J. One victim, a 16-year-old girl, sustained a two-to-three inch cut on top of her head and forehead bruising. She was taken to the hospital for treatment. The other victim, a 24-year-old man, was treated at the scene.

As a a result, Radke, 28, was charged with simple assault and aggravated assault, and then released on $25,000 bail.

In response to the incident, Six Flags Great Adventure has banned all future heavy metal-affiliated concerts at the park. "This was the first metal show that we've ever had, and will be the last," said Kristin Siebeneicher, spokeswoman for park. "We have no plans to host another metal show."

"This performer was completely reckless," said Siebeneicher. "He had complete disregard for the safety of his fans. His actions were totally unacceptable. It's not the type of entertainment that we want to be producing."

At FestEVIL, 20 bands performed across two stages in the Northern Star Arena, which can accommodate u to 8,500 people. Falling in Reverse headlined to around 1,000 fans. Radke threw the mic stands into the crowd at the end of the band's set, at around 10:45PM. You can view video below.

Considering its Ronnie Radke, I'm not surprised. He's already done time in jail in connection to a murder.

The biggest mistake Six Flags made here is calling "Falling in Reverse" a metal band. Real metal bands aren't dicks to their fans.
