Steve Harris, the primary songwriting force behind Iron Maiden has just released his long awaited debut solo album. British Lion features the veteran bassist joined by a powerhouse vocalist named Richard Taylor and a cast of seasoned players. There's a bit of everything on the record for any fan of classic hard rock and metal. Greats like UFO and Thin Lizzy certainly come to mind when Noisecreep spins the album.

Produced by Harris with a superb mix job by Kevin Shirley (Dream Theater, Rush), British Lion has already garnered raves across the pond, with the folks at Classic Rock magazine calling the album "a big hearted and ferocious triumph."
