Muse Cover Deftones Again, Anvil Are Going to 'Hell' + More News

In an interview earlier this year, Muse drummer Dom Howard compared dubstep to heavy metal: "We went to see Skrillex and we went, 'Fuck, it's so heavy!' It was like a full metal gig – they had circles of death. People were moshing. I hadn't seen a reaction like that to electronic music before."

Cue the Tom Perry song! Sweden's Free Fall have signed to Nuclear Blast. What's their deal? They're all about what they call "Freedom Rock." In a statement, the band said, "We believe that the deal Free Fall makes today with Nuclear Blast will be a significant step towards our quest to liberate people through Freedom Rock. Anvil will follow up 2011's Juggernaut of Justice with Hope in Hell, which is due to land in the spring of 2013. The Canadian thrash legends have a new bassist named Sal Italiano, who replaced Glenn "G5" Gyorffy earlier this year. The album is Italiano's recorded debut. [Vh1 Classic Radio]
