Dio Cancer Benefit to Feature All-Stars, Red Fang Drop New Video + More News

The Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund's second Awards Gala is set for Halloween night (Oct. 31) at the Avalon nightclub in Hollywood.

It will include a live performance by Dio Disciples, which includes former members of the band Dio.

A celebrity jam session is planned, featuring Joey Vera (Armored Saint), Billy Morrison (The Cult), Glenn Hughes (Black Country Communion), Frankie Banali (Quiet Riot), Stephen Pearcy (Ratt), Joey Belladonna (Anthrax), Michael Sweet and Oz Fox from Stryper, David "Rock" Feinstein, cousin of the late singer Ronnie James Dio in whose memory the Fund was created, and members of Buckcherry [Via Press Release]

Red Fang have dropped the video for "Dirt Wizard," which follows the group as it travels through Europe, performing before a clutch of excited (and perhaps intoxicated) fans. That's what makes a metal show so freakin' fun. This clip is an insider's view of life on the road, as the band goes from place place, loads in and loads out and rocks the hell out. They're clearly road warriors and tourin' ain't easy. The band has one more tour and then it's back to the studio for more artsy, noisy metal!
