From the band:
"Liv has had issues with her voice starting way back in 2007-2008 and it turned out to be a node on her vocal chords," the band said in a statement. "To avoid surgery she has been very strict with warm-ups, vocal exercises and what not, but never the less things have taken a turn for the worse lately. After re-visiting her doctor last week it became apparent that surgery is now needed and unavoidable. So it is with great regret we are forced to cancel the announced shows and planned dates for the rest of the year. This is very common amongst singers and expected recovery is only two months so we will be back stronger than ever in early 2013 and for the upcoming US tour in February."
Sister Sin is scheduled to hit the U.S. on a tour with German metal priestess Doro starting in February. The Swedish band recently released an album entitled Now and Forever via Victory Records.

The Connecticut hardcore band shared the brand new song "Put it to the Torch," which will appear on their upcoming Razor & Tie debut, The Divinity of Purpose, out Jan. 29. Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta said, "I'm pumped for everyone to check out our new song. Thanks to all of our fans for the continuous support! We're super excited to release new music and hit the road hard in 2013!"

"The teaser audio are demos only," says the vocalist. "We start tracking in two weeks. No outside writers have been used. This IS Queensryche's writing and we're proud to introduce the next chapter of the legacy. We are very proud to have James Barton on board, he is surely the right man for this, as already proven.
