"While continuing our tradition of releasing a few new songs at a time," explained Keenan, "I also had an itch that needed scratching, and that itch was 'Balls to the Wall.' Produced by GGGarth Richardson (Rage Against the Machine) in Los Angeles, Calif., Opposites is the follow-up to the critically-acclaimed Only Revolutions, which sold over 800,000 copies worldwide and earned a Mercury Prize nomination. The Sunday Times, Kerrang and Q each gave it four stars, Esquire labeled it "a blistering triumph" and the NME declared that the release "springs the band instantly level with the greatest rock acts in the world."
The Carla Harvey and Heidi Shepherd-fronted metal band Butcher Babies has signed to Century Media. The L.A. band mixes heavy metal with horror theatrics, and has two hot chicks as the frontwomen. "Century Media has been a huge supporter of Butcher Babies for a long time, and it feels natural to join their tightknit family," said the band of their signing. "It's an honor for us to be on a roster amongst many other bands that have inspired us for so long. We couldn't be more excited about the future of this union." We couldn't agree more. CMR is the right place for the Butcher Babies. [Via Press Release]
