Jon Bon Jovi Breaks Silence After Daughter's Struggles

An ambulance crew took her to the hospital as she was unresponsive, and a search of her dorm room yielded marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a "small quantity" of heroin. The 19-year-old was originally placed under arrested, but the charges were later dropped due to a New York law that prohibits the prosecution of those who are overdosed.
After the initial incident, Bon Jovi had not responded to the media at all. Last night, however, he gave a quote to the Los Angeles news station Fox 11 about the situation.
"This tragedy was something that I had to face too so we'll get through it. People's warm wishes for my family and I have been really reassuring. So, we're good," he said. Luckily the obscure New York law will save the family from dealing with criminal charges during the holidays.
